Firstly I would like to say something about our Trust and before that
with all of your permission, let me ask some questions. What is
the stance of our generosity today? It is incontrovertibly
inexiable. We have gone far from the social attachment neglecting
the axioms of humanism, homogeneity and collectivism. And in
consequence, human being in general became more and more misanthropes
than ever before.
This is a situation that we should
reverse. This is a time to revamp our mentality and in order to
raise up our co-human beings, we have formed this charitable trust in
the year 2002 and since its inception, the trust is rapidly striving
towards total charity and we believe that is the right path towards the
betterment of the exploited, the down trodden and the forgotten.
The trust was registered as
no.S.337/02. The hospital under the trust began functioning on
20th October 2003, in a building taken on rent in the heart of Kannur
town in the SPCA Road. The building belongs to Dr.Ranjith,
S/o brigadier Dr.P.K. Lakshmanan. The hospital was formally
inaugurated on 10th January 2004 at Navaneetham auditorium by Sri.K
Sudhakaran, the minister for Forests and Sports of Kerala.
The trust is focusing
mainly towards charitable activities from its formation for eg. we have
conducted many free medical camps in majority of the remote villages of
Kannur district. We are giving financial aid to those selected
poor students whose parents are not able to pay their fees. We
also have a fully equipped ambulance. More over every second Saturday,
free food is being supplied to patients of district hospital, kannur.
Uniforms are being supplied
to students of backward class. In short the poor and the needy are
the sole beneficiaries of the trust. Above all, I have good news
for all you people. Now we have decided to give a chance for the
public to participate in the graceful activities that we are engaged in
and we also request you to encourage other persons to join in it by
paying desired contribution in the form of donations.
